Given our recent posting on the new portrait of Shakespeare, perhaps it's time to listen to some of his sonnets or other poems. Librivox is a great site with thousands of free literary audio files. Download Anthony Trollope or Charlotte Perkins Gilman to your computer or mp3 player. All the reading is done by volunteers, so the overall quality is perhaps not the same as a commercially-produced audio book, but the fact that it is supported by a community of literature lovers is admirable.
